An Artist Attacked in Crocodile Gorge Western Australia
Sydney (ANTARA News / Xinhua-OANA) - An Australian woman has survived a crocodile attack while he was swimming in a remote canyon near Wyndham in the north of Western Autralia, local media reported on Wednesday.
Artist Jane Dennis Wyndham freshwater crocodile bitten in the leg while he was swimming in the gorges in dekata Diggers Rest Station on Saturday (4/5) with two friends.
51-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital by his friends to be treated, according to Xinhua - which monitored ANTARA here on Wednesday.
Friend Jane, Dani Ryder, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Dennis leg bitten by the crocodile.
"Jane jumped into the water and float on her back and when she put her foot down, the freshwater crocodile emerged from the river and biting his legs and pull him into the water," he said.
